This paperweight is HUGE! There is at least as much glass in this weight as there is in a 3"+ marble. Thats a lot of glass!

 

I love the look of this large "Astral Jellyfish" paper weight. Ground flat and true on the bottom this weight looks whispy and ethereal when held in hand. When on a dark background with good lighting, this weight "lights up" and the whispy flowing blue colors are revealed. Beautiful!

A comment on lighting - I took these photos with 2 xenon halogen "puck" style lights. I find that they really light the marbles up without being artificially bright. Part of the reason that I really like using silver fume in my marbles is that the silver vapor seems to hold light in a pieces. These marbles will not look the same under natural lights. This is why I am now including a natural day light photo with available marbles. )
